Our Story

In the US, many liberals and progressives have grown increasingly disappointed in our elected politicians and their unwillingness to fight for the working class when faced with climate change and growing fascism on the right. 

It has become increasingly clear that our current capitalist system — and its 2-party system beholden to a corporate ruling class — will never serve our interests. Over the past 20 years, various leftist movements have awakened the spirit of revolution among young people on the left.

For many, it was Occupy Wall Street.

For many, it was Black Lives Matter.

For many, it was Palestinian Liberation.

PlebNotes is an attempt to teach basic revolutionary history, theory, and strategy to working class folks (“plebs”) looking for hope and justice in an increasingly bleak, unjust world. For too long, leftist politics has been hidden away in boring, dusty books written by long-dead white guys. We need to bring this wisdom to 21st century plebs — using social media and simple language we can all understand.

Each of us has tools we use to perform our daily work. Together, let’s dismantle this oppressive machine and build something new.
